Home Maintenance Safety Checklist

• Verify the appointment time and date in your confirmation email/whatsapp message
• Confirm you’ve received the maintenance person’s:
  • Full name
  • Photo ID
  • Vehicle registration
  • Uniform description

When the Maintenance Person Arrives

• Check through a window or peephole before opening the door
• Ask to see their company ID and photo identification
• Verify these match the details sent to you earlier
• Call our office if you have any concerns: 083-0951136

During the Visit

Your Rights as a Customer

• You have the right to:
  • Ask questions about what work is being done
  • Request the maintenance person to wear shoe covers
  • Set boundaries about which areas of your home can be accessed
  • Ask the maintenance person to leave at ANY time if you feel uncomfortable
  • Have a friend or family member present during the visit
  • Monitor the work being done

Maintaining Security

• Keep valuable items secured
• Close doors to rooms that don’t require maintenance
• Keep important documents out of sight
• Maintain visibility of the maintenance person when possible
• Keep pets secured in a separate room if necessary, however our team love dogs.

After the Visit

• Review completed work
• Ensure all doors and windows are properly secured
• Check that no tools or equipment were left behind
• Verify all items in work areas are accounted for
• Sign off on completed work only if satisfied
